How much does this all cost?
If you want to come along and ski with us, you will most likely ski with us on a Wednesday evening session at first. These are arranged every Wednesday evening throughout the ski season.
For one ski on a Wednesday night will need to part with £23. Of this:
£3 will go towards use of club skis, wetsuits etc.
£10 will go to the boat owner
£10 goes towards your membership
If you have a second ski on the same evening, you will need to pay a further £10 to cover the running costs.
After 5 visits to the club as a guest, you will need to join the club, but you will already have paid £50 towards your membership
In all cases, the club relies on membership fees, but we realise that we won't get new members unless we invite people to try skiing. It is for this reason that we allow people five skiing visits to the club before we insist on them becoming a member. By this time, we expect you to have decided that you like it, and want to continue.
